The COC Express client software is available as an option for Callisto Express or as stand-alone software. Additionally, COC Express can be purchased as a single seat or as a company license (site license).
The optional additional software COC proxy service for Cisco® Unified Communications Manager Express and the Cisco® Unified 500 Series, respectively allows monitoring and controlling of a single phone from several client stations. Due to the COC proxy service, the COC Express can handle many users simultaneously. Additional CTI solutions like click-to-dial for Outlook via Cisco's TAPI light service can be deployed and used in parallel. Like the COC Express software, the COC Proxy service is available as a Callisto Express option as well as stand-alone-software.
With this option, the following three cases are available:
  • Option COC Proxy Service disabled: COC Express can be used as a single user version (licensing on COC Express) and without additional client software application (Cisco TAPI light Service).
  • Option COC Proxy Service enabled: COC Express can be used as a single and multiuser version (licensing on COC Express) and together with additional client software applications – like dial support for Microsoft® Outlook (Cisco® TAPI light service).
  • Option COC Proxy Service enabled, site license deployed: COC Express can be used as a multiuser version (no licensing needed on COC Express, licensing is kept centrally within Callisto Express) and with additional client software applications – like dial support for Microsoft® Outlook (Cisco® TAPI light service).
