Oracle validates Callisto Cruise for the integration with Oracle Hospitality

10 September 2020

Main Callisto Cruise Guest & Crew Communication Applications now integrated into Oracle Hospitality Cruise Shipboard Property Management System.

CTModule, a Gold level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced it has achieved Oracle Validated Integration of Callisto Cruise with Oracle Hospitality Cruise Shipboard Property Management System (SPMS). This validation gives customers and the responsible ship’s crew the necessary assurance that the two important systems on board interact flawlessly.

To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers. With its smart platform architecture, CTModule’s Callisto Cruise offers an open way for ocean carriers to swiftly, flexibly, reliably, and cost-efficiently fulfil server-centric standard and tailor-made communication application needs on cruise ships. The modular Callisto Cruise system—when integrated with Oracle Hospitality Cruise SPMS—provides the appropriate functionality for the specific crew and guest interaction requirements of a cruise line.

“As a market leader for guest and crew communication solutions for cruise ships—equipped with Cisco infrastructure—, we are pleased to acheive Oracle Validated Integration with the market leader of property management systems in the cruise industry,” said CTModule’s CEO, Juerg Fund. “The long and excellent cooperation with Oracle’s professional cruise team has made our work in the many different ship projects—from the largest, Symphony of the Seas, to the smallest, MS EUROPA—much easier. Additionally, Oracle’s SPMS and CTModule’s Callisto Cruise system have many strengths in common: For example, both products are designed to efficiently provide many different applications for guest & crew interaction on a single platform,” he continues.

“Achieving Oracle Validated Integration gives our customers confidence that the integration between Callisto Cruise and Oracle Hospitality Cruise SPMS is functionally sound and performs as tested,” said David Hicks, vice president, Worldwide ISV Cloud Business Development, Oracle. “For solutions deployed on-premise, in the cloud, or both, Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical review and test process that helps to reduce deployment risk and improves the user experience of the partner’s integrated offering.”

Together with Oracle’s Hospitality SPMS and Cisco’s Unified Communications Manager (UCM) private branch exchange (PBX) solution, Callisto Cruise guest & crew communication applications platform delivers a leading hospitality management system (HMS) for both critical and discretionary applications for crew and guest communication on board cruise ships, such as:

About Oracle Validated Integration

Oracle Validated Integration, available through the Oracle Partner Network (OPN), gives customers confidence that the integration of a complementary partner software product with an Oracle “on-premises” Application has been validated and the products work together as designed. This can help customers reduce risk, improve system implementation cycles, and provide for smoother upgrades and simpler maintenance. Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical process to review partner integrations and partners who successfully complete the program are authorized to use the “Oracle Validated Integration” logo.
