Cruise Alarming Mobile

Receive Alerts Anytime and Anywhere

Many alarm participants on a cruise ship are constantly on the move. Therefore, it is vital that they can be reached for any alarm messages. Cruise Alarming Mobile allows mobile alarm participants to receive alarms reliably on their smartphones. The alarms are notified differently depending on the defined ring tone and can be viewed at any time in the clear alarm group display. The alarms are stored and displayed with timestamps, alarm/information text, and the number of read/unread alarms. If configured, the alarms are even able to breakthrough settings such as “silent,” “vibration,” or “do not disturb” with defined volume.

Using the Mobile Device Management (MDM) system, the Cruise Alarming Mobile App can be easily distributed with the correct configuration to the appropriate smartphones.

The Callisto Modul Cruise Alarming module processes alarms from various sources and sends these alarms as push messages to configured groups of phones.

BabyPhone Mobile

Vacation Support for All Parents

A vacation with a baby is different from vacation for two. But parents also want a little break from time to time, which is only possible in the evening when the baby is asleep. Callisto BabyPhone (Mobile) was created to ensure the parents’ freedom and the child’s safety in similar situations in the hotel or on the cruise ship. Callisto BabyPhone registers the slightest peep in the baby’s sleeping room and immediately informs the parents on a smartphone; acoustically, optionally with video on request. The ease of use of the application makes the use of Callisto BabyPhone (Mobile) a joy for staff and parents.

The fast setup of the Callisto Module BabyPhone and the easy distribution of the BabyPhone Mobile smartphone app via the Mobile Device Management (MDM) system facilitate introducing the offer for all parents.

RemoteReception Mobile

Communication at a Distance and Yet Personal

Especially in difficult times of COVID, communication at a distance is responsible. The Callisto module RemoteReception (Mobile) guarantees a very personal way of communication at a distance. Via video call, guests can quickly and user-friendly contact the desired person, for example, in the back office. The RemoteReception Mobile tablet application offers a freely configurable interface, for example, a background image, information, the country for the guest’s language, and a call button. When the guest presses the call button, the guest’s language is transmitted to the agent, which allows the agent to accept the video call in the guest’s language.

A tablet with the RemoteReception mobile application can be set up wherever a guest needs information and in a place where no staff is currently present for some reason: e.g., at the reception, in the SPA or fitness area, in an elevator, in front of the door to the doctor’s/board hospital area, etc. Or where special protection is required, e.g., to protect the staff of COVID patients.

The good old pager is slowly becoming obsolete – long live the pager on smartphones! There are always situations where making a phone call is not possible or only possible to a limited extent – for example, in a hospital or specific jobs in the industry, administration, or even on cruise ships – or where manufacturers want to save on licenses for mobile devices. Callisto Paging Service stands for reliable notifications for all incoming calls to smartphones. Like an in-house paging system, it even allows to directly answer the call at any telephone connected to the subscriber exchange.

Using the Mobile Device Management (MDM) system, the Paging Service Mobile App can be easily distributed to the appropriate smartphones with the correct configuration.

On board a cargo ship, fast and reliable communication within the crew is crucial for goods’ efficient and safe passage. It’s not just about being able to reach each other at a specific time at different locations on board, but also about having the freedom to call any crewmember or externally without having to go to the bridge. The Callisto MiniPBX (Mobile) module provides a dedicated smartphone-based PBX solution to provide cargo ship crew members with phone and chat services based on the latest VoIP technologies. Just by adding a small, virtual server on a ship and connecting it to the appropriate SIP trunk on board, Callisto MiniPBX is ready for configuration and use.

Callisto architecture – The new simplicity

The Callisto platform provides the following features (without Modules and Applications):

  • all interfaces to the Cisco telephony infrastructure, provisioning (e.g., Kurmi), and 3rd party systems (e.g. (S)PMS, CRM, alarm systems, etc.)
  • Base infrastructure for import, configuration, and administration of modules, collections, and applications
  • Platform management for security, back-up/restore, update/upgrade process, licensing, log and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Dashboard and reporting
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) support
  • User and administrator management, rights management.

After licensing, modules, collections, or customized applications can be uploaded to the Callisto platform and configured in a simple and flexible way.
