Callisto Voice Recording – Your best choice

Versatility

With Callisto VoiceRecording, you cover all possible customer scenarios: on-demand, permanent, Keep-It recording, and recording of 3rd party devices like DECT, etc.

Security

Callisto VoiceRecording is secure and compliant with MIFID II, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.

Simplicity

Both intuitive recording and secure listening of voice recordings from all end devices, as well as the simple, user-friendly configuration of the various scenarios, highlight the simplicity of Callisto VoiceRecording.

crossplatfrom crossdevice

Uniform across all devices

Use Callisto VoiceRecording intuitively and reliably wherever you are with the device you want:

  • Cisco phone
  • Cisco Jabber
  • Webex (as soon as Tabs are available)
  • Smartphone
  • Callisto Operator Solution
  • 3rd-Party Systems like DECT (with the RecordingBridge module)

Possible recording scenarios

The flexibility of Callisto is reflected in the variety of possible applications with Callisto VoiceRecording:

  • Permanent recording: often used for important extensions such as emergency numbers, operator or interview recordings in the media sector
  • On-demand recording: for GDPR compliant recording. The start and the stop button can be pressed on your own device.
  • Recording with pause: for PCI-DSS compliant recording. During a recording, the Pause button can be pressed, e.g., to record a customer’s confidential credit card data, and then the recording is resumed by pressing the Resume Recording button.
  • Keep-It recording: what if, during a threatening call, you forget to start the recording? No problem: with the Keep-It function (in connection with permanent recording), the recording can still be recorded or saved during the call or after the call.

Furthermore, Callisto VoiceRecording supports all recording methods used in a Cisco environment such as:

  • Cisco Built-in Bridge (BiB) recording
  • Callisto Recording-Bridge (RecordingBridge module)
  • Network-based recording (Cisco Voice Gateway Forking)

Save playback of the recordings

The recordings can be viewed at any time through

  • web interface
  • Jabber tabs
  • Webex tabs (if available in Webex)
  • Callisto Gadgets
  • Callisto operator solution COC

securely and according to the 4-eyes principle. The permissions for the corresponding users are configurable. Monitor filters make it easier for interceptors to access the data quickly and securely.

Safe as a Swiss bank

End-to-end encrypted recordings are securely encrypted and stored in Callisto’s internal database or on any server according to specific criteria. Using the hash function, each recording is provided with a one-to-one watermark; subsequent editing of the same is therefore impossible and is immediately displayed by Callisto.

Whether the recordings are stored in Callisto itself or archived on a separate server, the encrypted data is transparent to Callisto in both cases.

Access to the data is restricted to authorized people only and can be configured accordingly via the Callisto user authorization – including the 4-eyes principle if wished by the customer.

Fast and secure access

With the help of monitor filters and authorizations, access to the sensitive data of the voice recordings can be quickly tailored to the needs of each individual user. The authorized users can then easily and quickly access the data through the various end devices and clients to…

  • access the records,
  • filter them further,
  • search for different criteria of the recording,
  • play them back,
  • store them permanently if necessary, and
  • check in detail the information about the recording, including its authenticity.

The voice recordings are recorded by Callisto in stereo so that the caller can be listened to separately with the right audio channel or the called party with the left audio channel (L = local, R = remote).
