This year’s Seatrade show in Fort Lauderdale will be the stage to present the powerful Cruise Communication Solutions of these two companies.

Belp (CH), Hilversum (NL), 25th February 2023 – End of March at Seatrade 2023, CTModule AG, the market-leading UCC Application Platform for Cruise ships, will take the wrapper off its Cruise Collection and announce the newest strategic partnership with NEC Enterprise Solutions.

Both companies have a deep history and share a dedication to Cruise and Hospitality Communication. The CTModule Callisto Cruise applications platform will be fully interoperable with NEC’s UNIVERGE 3C IP PBX, providing customers with a powerful Cruise Communications solution for advanced crew and guest experience. This new alliance offers exceptional functionalities and reduces the OPEX Communication costs for small-to-large Cruise lines.

CTModule’s Partner Lufthansa Industry Solutions, one of the leading system integrators for the Cruise industry , will be the first to integrate this solution in new Cruise builds once the complete interoperability process is done.

This year at Seatrade 2023, CTModule’s staff will be on hand in booth 405, to discuss the benefits and to present the Cruise Modules that are part of the broad Callisto Cruise Collection.

“The partnership between CTModule and NEC will not only expand the offering in the cruise market in terms of guest and crew communications but will enable us to deliver small and large cruise/hospitality projects,” said Juerg Fund, CEO of CTModule. “NEC’s leading position in the hospitality market will also enable us to strengthen Callisto’s application platform advantages in this vertical for a superior communication experience. We will benefit from an additional leading PBX vendor, while NEC will benefit from CTModule’s excellent reputation as a UCC application platform in the Cruise industry.”

“Key factors for this partner selection were an extensive experience in the Cruise and Hospitaliy industry, with a network of Operators, Yards and System Integrators,” Fund continues. “And we found just that in NEC’s Cruise and Hospitality division. Their commitment to these sectors makes them unique and assures us they were the right fit to grow our Cruise and Hospitality business.”

Kees van Donk, Sr Director Travel Hospitality & Leisure at NEC, responds: “Thanks to our vast installed base of over 22% in the CLIA Fleet, and 20+ years’ experience in the Global Cruise Industry, we are committed to making and keeping communications THE reliable and cost-effective solution for our customers.

“The deep technical knowledge and understanding within the CTModule Team of the importance of communications for Cruise confirmed that partnering with CTModule is the right decision. Based on the power of the Callisto Platform, we are launching it to the massive Global NEC Hospitality installed base of 140,000 Hotels worldwide”, van Donk concludes.
