How It Works, Step by Step

Let’s have a look at how the face-to-face communication via the RemoteReception Module works:

  1. The tablet can be located throughout the venue, for example, fixend on a holder in the entrance area or placed directly in the guest’s room. Tipp: To keep the touch-screen save for guests in times of pandemics, the tablet can be equipped with an antibacterial protection film
  2. The booted tablet shows a customised, area specific interface
  3. The guest selects the preferred language and starts a call
  4. In the back office, the receptionist or agent sees the incoming call with information about the preferred language chosen and a preview from the tablet’s camera
  5. Once the connection is established, the guest sees the movable front camera preview frame that also offers the option to decline the video feed if preferred
  6. After the conversation, both customer or receptionist/agent can terminate the connection
