Billing SOLUTION FOR PRIVATE, EXTERNAL CALLS

Callisto Cruise PINCode Telephony for Cisco UCC solutions: effortless invoicing of private, external calls

Cruise PINCode Telephony – The Billing Solution for Private Outgoing Calls

Do you remember the days of scratch cards from telephone providers? On some ships, this is still the case today, with crew members having to buy and reload such cards in order to make private calls on oceans. That's why we have developed the PINCode Telephony module to offer crew calling and simplify the billing process in a reliable way for the cruise company. PINCode Telephony can also be used for guests, where special call protection is required.

Callisto PINCode Telephony – Your Best Choice

Cost Saving

Cruise PINCode Telephony relieves Cruise lines from provider price dependencies and, most importantly, from the expensive, time-consuming, and logistics-intensive scratch card solution.

Simple

Simplicity in installation, configuration, use, and administration characterize the Cruise PINCode Telephony solution, thus saving Cruise lines additional costs.

Must-Have

Especially for crew members, private outgoing calls on board a ship are a must-have. There's no mobile phone reception during a passage on the high seas.

Simple and Secure

No more scratch cards to make a call, no more loading up at the payment machine! Go to the nearest available phone, make a PIN-protected call, done. The rest is taken care of by Callisto and the respective PMS. And this is how it works in detail:

Option 1:

  1. Dial Callisto PINCodeTelephony number
  2. Enter PIN/Manning number
  3. Dial external number
  4. Make the call

Option 2:

  1. Enter PINCode Telephony prefix followed by external phone number
  2. Enter PIN/Manning number when requested
  3. Make the call

The billing is straightforward and secure through Callisto and the PMS.

The Cruise PINCode Telephony module is generally available for guests’ external calls. This procedure prevents unauthorized external calls from being made in a cabin.

Customized Pricing

PINCode Telephony offers a comprehensive billing application through the Cruise Base module that can invoice guests and crew members individually. Usually, the specified data is exchanged with the PMS, which in turn generates the invoice. The extensive configuration options allow individual price plans for external calls, which consider the call region, the caller, and the charge interval. It is also possible to grant refunds to crew members or guests. If no PMS is available, Cruise Base Reporting can be used to bill the invoice.

Integrated and Automated

Callisto Cruise is integrated into all SPMS of the major cruise lines. As a result, the Cruise PINCode Telephony module receives all the necessary information for the service from the corresponding shipboard PMS during check-in/out. After check-in, the crewmember or guest can make private outgoing calls. Upon check-out, all made calls will be deleted. A private call of the crew member or the guest via Cruise PINCode Telephony is no longer possible afterward.

Suitable Payment Procedure

Pre or post-paid solution? Special requirements? Everything is possible with the Cruise PINCode Telephony module. The post-paid process (credit) is the standard, and the pre-paid process (debit) is available on request. We are flexible in considering your special requirements, let’s have a talk.
